MahaSiddha Buddhism is a gö kar chang-lo school of the Nyingma Tradition.
Buddhism is a practical path for realizing the nature of one's mind and the essence of life, therefore bringing forth one's human potential. There are many different paths of Buddhism, which vary widely in detail, but have in common this aforementioned essence. The gö kar chang-lo school are the white skirt, long-haired ordained Yogis who do not renounce the world, but live fully in it.
Our Mission Is Two-Fold
• To offer a school of Yogic Buddhism in the West
• To share the wisdom of our tradition with the public for
sane minds, healthy bodies and loving relationships.
Our Mission Explained
The purpose of our work is to express, make visible and embody the wisdom, methods and essential realization of the MahaSiddhas and to uphold the legacy of the Tantric Buddhas.
Our ideals are based on and guided by the example, teachings and lineage of the MahaSiddhas as conveyed to us by our founder, Troma Rigtsal Rinpoche.
Our central practice is a way of experiencing our Self and our lives directly, beyond dualistic reality habits.
We offer the traditional path of Yogic (non-monastic) practice, training and ordination. We celebrate Vajrayana Buddhism in an accessible, essential language to alleviate suffering, dispel confusion and empower all to live a kinder more joyful life.
We understand that the transformation of many rests on the growth and enlightenment of each one and that there will never be peace on earth until men and women learn to have liberating, loving relationships.
Our Vision
We exist to honor and reveal
a Way of Being
sane, balanced, grounded, empowered, loving, creative,
and Awake in all things all the time...
Enlightened Being
What the MahaSiddhas valued above all else,
and fulfillment of the deepest wish of all beings.
